TRANSFORMING COMPANIES’S VISION INTO EVERY EMPLOYEE’S VISION

For a company vision to be fulfilled, employees should feel that they own a bit of this future, they helped create this vision, and they have added input to it. Managers start "losing troops in this battle" by not empowering, engaging everyone available by providing ownership of the company’s vision.

Companies must have their own vision, but employees must also have their own vision of how they can help the company to fulfil this vision. Once employees start aligning their vision and taking responsibility on how to participate in this mission, engagement is created.

Engaging and coaching employees is one of the most powerful tools a turnaround manager can have access to in a recovery situation. It is cheap and available, not requiring any further cash injection. Employees will perform better when there is a sense of ownership to what they are experiencing every day.
